IT Specialist

A Japanese company is seeking an IT Specialist to oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems across the U.S. operations. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for business systems, manage hardware installations and support, coordinate with vendors, and provide hands-on technical assistance to employees. The ideal candidate will help drive technology initiatives, maintain system security and performance, and support the company’s ongoing growth through strategic IT planning., * Manage implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of business-critical IT systems

• Oversee installation and support of POS systems, order management systems, and other in-store technology
• Provide technical support for PCs, smartphones, networks, and related hardware/software
• Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and ensure data security and compliance
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to support business needs
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and operations
• Assist with IT budgeting, forecasting, and long-term technology planning

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Experience with POS system is preferred.

Japanese language skills are preferred., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT systems, operations, maintenance, or systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting
• Experience managing projects and working with external vendors
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred
• Japanese language skills are a plus
