Job description

The Software Specialist assists with the implementation and support of software products., * Performs discovery visits in hospitals to understand operations, workflows, associate needs, project challenges, and overall needs for software implementation.

  • Coordinates with departments before and during Cornerstone implementations, including but not limited to Operations, Pricing, Finance, and with IT.
  • Leads software implementations, including coordinating support staff, facilitating rekey (if necessary), providing support and training for associates and driving the overall success of the implementation.
  • Performs live and remote training in front of large audiences.
  • Provides day-to-day support and troubleshooting for all software products supported by the Enterprise Software Team including but is not limited to, Cornerstone, Instinct, Text Expander, and Talkatoo.
  • Provides creative solutions for opportunities for software standardization across the organization.
  • Build relationships and coordinate with various departments, local hospital management, doctors, and staff on projects.
  • Strives for efficiency in both internal team processes and hospital day to day operations.
  • Creates and maintains training resources, project plans, and other documentation for supported software.
  • Provides associate training.
  • Understand BluePearl charging methodology.
  • Drives standardization for the organization in relation to supported products, charging methodology, and other business processes.
  • Assists in maintaining software CMDB.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required.
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience required.
  • Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
  • Works under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization of work, and problem-solving skills.
  • Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action.
  • Environment where pets are present.
  • Travel required up to 40% of the time.
