WhatNot Video Game Live Seller - Auction Host

Skylar Racing, Inc. is looking for high-energy, fast-talking, camera-ready streamers to host high-pace live auctions on Whatnot.

This is NOT a slow retail job. You’ll be live 6 hours per shift, usually afternoons into late night, selling video games with $1 starts, rapid item flow, and constant audience interaction.

If you can’t keep energy high for hours, talk nonstop, think fast, and entertain while selling - this is not the role for you.

If you can- this is one of the most fun and lucrative streaming jobs out there.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Host 6-hour live auction streams on Whatnot
• Sell video games & collectibles at a fast, nonstop pace
• Run $1 start auctions and keep momentum high
• Hype items, call bids, and drive urgency in real time
• Engage constantly with chat (questions, bids, hype)
• Maintain high energy on camera for the full shift
• Work closely with warehouse staff to prep inventory
• Hit performance goals tied directly to commission

• HIGH ENERGY- loud, engaging, confident on camera
• Comfortable talking nonstop for hours
• Thrives in fast-paced, live, unscripted environments
• Able to sell + entertain at the same time
• Reliable availability for afternoon & late-night shifts
• DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF RETRO VIDEO GAME TITLES
• Must work on-site in our streaming warehouse

• Experience on Whatnot, TikTok Live, Twitch, YouTube Live
• Sales, hosting, acting, improv, or performance background
• Auction or livestream commerce experience, * Can you sit for 6+ hours at a time and maintain a high energy level?
• Do you have knowledge in Japanese Anime/Pop Culture?
• Do you have knowledge in Retro & Modern Video Games?
• Have you heard of WhatNot or TikTok Live Auctions?
• Are you comfortable on camera for long periods of time?
• Do you prefer a slow-paced job or a fast, high-pressure environment?
• Can you talk continuously while thinking, reacting, and selling at the same time?
• Are you okay with performance-based pay (commission tied to sales)?
• How would you create urgency during a $1 sudden death auction?

• $12.77/hour + 2.5% gross commission
