Job description
The Head of Patient Solutions is responsible for defining and executing the strategy that simplifies how patients discover, access, and engage with LifeStance services. This role will oversee a cross-functional portfolio that bridges Product, Design, Operations, and Technology, ensuring that patient-facing systems and workflows work together cohesively.
The role is accountable for optimizing the end-to-end patient experience across access and scheduling, including online scheduling, appointment availability, and referral intake; digital engagement through the patient portal, mobile experiences, and patient communications such as SMS reminders, email notifications, and telehealth access; intake and onboarding processes through streamlined digital forms, pre-visit workflows, and consent management; billing and payments by enhancing transparency and expanding digital payment options; and experience measurement through patient satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and digital adoption metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive better patient outcomes., * Lead a multi-year roadmap for patient experience improvements across systems, processes, and digital products.

Partner with the Product & Experience teams to align on requirements, design standards, and delivery sequencing.

Establish and report on KPIs, including patient NPS, scheduling conversion, no-show rates, portal adoption, and payment completion.

Create a governance model for prioritizing patient-impact initiatives across business lines.

Champion accessibility and equity in care delivery through digital and operational design.

Serve as executive liaison with Athena, call centers, and regional operations to ensure alignment and issue resolution.

Build and mentor a team focused on patient experience analytics, UX research, and digital enablement.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
-
At least 10 years of product management
-
At least 10 years of healthcare experience
-
At least 8 years of people management experience
-
At least 7 years of strategic leadership experience
-
Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems including EMR, RCM, and call center technologies.

Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and scalability initiatives.
-
Experience implementing AI or automation in operational workflows.
-
Strong understanding of healthcare data, interoperability, and system integration.
-
Direct experience in leading full cycle product development from idea to production release and management.

Experience in building and scaling high-performance product teams within a large healthcare organization.

Skilled at translating user needs into actionable technology and process improvements
