Job description

  • Design, develop, and implement new software features and applications.
  • Enhance and maintain existing software platforms to improve performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Develop and integrate APIs with third-party systems and services.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to identify business needs and deliver practical software solutions.
  • Contribute to the architecture and long-term direction of our equine event management platform.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow modern software development best practices.

Requirements

We’re looking for a developer who enjoys solving complex problems and building software that has a direct impact on the day-to-day operations of equine events. Experience within the horse show industry is highly valued. Whether you’ve worked in a show office, managed competitions, exhibited, judged, or have a strong understanding of how horse shows operate, your industry knowledge will help shape the next generation of our software., * Proficiency with C# and .NET

  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern front-end development
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Professional software development experience in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in the horse show or equine industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, agile team.
