Cash Applications Specialist

In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing and applying incoming payments, keeping financial records clean and accurate, and supporting our broader accounting operations. If you’re organized, detail-focused, and enjoy solving small financial puzzles, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Apply customer payments (lockbox, wire, ACH) accurately and efficiently
• Work with Accounting and Collections to resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain clear and organized documentation for all payment activity
• Support month-end close and account reconciliations
• Apply credit memos and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash receipts
• Process customer refunds in line with internal procedures
• Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts
• Use Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks Online or Intuit Enterprise Suite for daily cash applications and billing functions

• Previous experience in Cash Applications or Accounts Receivable
• Comfortable handling ACH transactions and billing functions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, spreadsheets, reports)
• Experience with Quickbooks Online , Intuit Enterprise Suite or other ERP systems is a plus
• Organized, dependable, and a strong communicator
• Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent work experience (5+ years in accounts receivable, cash applications, or a related field).
