Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Project Support / Junior Project Coordinator to assist with the coordination, documentation, and administrative support of low voltage and physical security projects. This role is ideal for someone who has project coordination experience, basic technical knowledge, and experience using AutoCAD to review, update, or assist with project drawings.

The ideal candidate is organized, willing to learn, comfortable working with project teams, and able to support both office-based project coordination and field-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and technical teams with day-to-day project coordination.
  • Assist with reviewing, updating, and organizing AutoCAD drawings, floor plans, markups, and project documentation.
  • Track project progress, deadlines, materials, work orders, and open tasks.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, technicians, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist with preparing project folders, closeout documents, submittals, schedules, and reports.
  • Help maintain accurate records of equipment, materials, site notes, and project updates.
  • Support scheduling for technicians, site visits, installations, and service work.
  • Review field notes and assist with updating drawings based on technician feedback.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, material requests, and purchase/order follow-ups.
  • Perform general administrative support related to low voltage, IT, security, access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and related projects.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of project support, administrative, or coordination experience preferred.
  • Basic AutoCAD experience required.
  • Experience in low voltage, construction, IT, security systems, access control, CCTV, AV, or structured cabling is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently.
  • Comfortable working with technical drawings, floor plans, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
  • Quick learner with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

  • AutoCAD drafting or drawing markup experience.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, data cabling, or security systems.
  • Experience supporting project managers, technicians, or construction/field teams.
  • Knowledge of work orders, closeout packages, RFIs, submittals, or project documentation., * AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
  • Project coordination: 1 year (Required)
  • Low voltage: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Office Support: 1 year (Required)
