Job description
AV is looking for a highly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will use your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms., * Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
- Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
- Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
- 12+ years of related professional experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes
- Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes
- Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering
- Professional communications and organization skills
Desired:
- MDA Experience
- Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principals
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities) experience
