Job description
AV is looking for a highly talented Systems Engineer III to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer (MDA/CE) and the Mission Risk Manager (MRM) by assisting with the development of Flight, Technical, and Cyber risks as they relate to both internal MDA systems as well as external systems., * Ensure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).
- Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) Decisions
- Provide expert review of evidence related to technical, and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews.
- Provide support to elements for risk development.
- Support Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
- 7+ years of experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Intermediate MS Office/TEAMS/PowerBI experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders.
- Experience with Risk development and assessment
Desired:
- Strong task management skills
- Experience working with probability and statistics
- Technical understanding of one or more MDS system
- Understanding of MDS systems engineering including system assessment
- Ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance
