Job description

The Analytics Manager supports financial and operational decision-making by leading a team dedicated to data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking. This position bridges the gap between data science and business strategy, working closely with the CFO and cross-functional leaders to drive organizational growth, manage departmental budgets, and maintain strict data privacy and compliance standards., * Team Leadership & People Management: Select, train, supervise, and mentor direct reports. Maintain high-performance standards through regular coaching, evaluations, and professional development initiatives.

  • Strategic & Financial Support: Partner with the CFO on budget variance analysis, financial tracking, and forecasting. Collaborate with leadership to align monthly/quarterly business goals and mitigate performance gaps.
  • Data Analytics & Insights: Oversee detailed data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights. Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business challenges.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Oversee the design and deployment of interactive dashboards and self-service reporting capabilities. Prepare and deliver performance presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data across multiple systems. Ensure data security, accuracy, and compliance with company privacy programs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in database reporting, analysis, statistics, or business management.
  • Leadership: 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working within healthcare or health plans is highly preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills., * Bachelor’s (Required)
