Job description
You will maintain mission planning systems, ensuring hardware and software are functional and up to date. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, performing updates, and managing data loads.
You’ll support mission planning during training exercises and deployments and keep detailed documentation of system configurations. Providing technical assistance to mission personnel and collaborating with government teams is essential for quickly addressing system challenges.
Your role is vital for ensuring system availability and operational readiness in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- IT-related degree OR 2+ years of relevant IT experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and systems
- Ability to support and maintain IT systems in an operational or mission-critical environment
- Ability to document technical issues and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, * Experience supporting USAF or DoD mission planning systems
- Familiarity with mission planning software, mapping tools, or geospatial data
- Experience working in classified or secure environments
- Military or aircrew experience
