Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of financial reporting

Design and maintain financial reports, dashboards, composite reports, and calculated fields to meet business reporting needs

Serve as a key stakeholder in ERP-related audit requests and internal control reviews

Integrations & Data

Oversee integrations between Workday Financials and third-party systems including banking, procurement, tax, and payroll platforms

Partner with IT and integration teams on EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio integrations

Ensure data governance standards are applied across the Workday financial data model

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Lead and mentor a small team of Workday Financials analysts or administrators

Drive cross-functional collaboration with HR/HRIS, IT, and business unit finance teams

Communicate platform strategy, project status, and system changes to executive leadership

Manage relationships with Workday and third-party implementation partners

Requirements

8+ years of Workday Financials experience, including hands-on configuration and system administration

Deep expertise across multiple Workday Financials modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Procurement, and Expenses at minimum

Demonstrated experience leading Workday Financials implementations, module deployments, or major enhancement projects

Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial close processes

Proven ability to translate complex finance business requirements into scalable Workday configurations

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting to CFO and executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience leading or supporting a full Workday Financials implementation

Background in public accounting or corporate accounting/finance (CPA a plus)
