Job description

  • Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development.
  • Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
  • Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills.
  • This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development.
  • Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $150,000/year, depending on your expertise, and market location conditions.
