Job description
- Support software development and systems-engineering activities as a developer and cloud-application engineer.
- Work with developers, DevSecOps pipeline engineers, QA/Test Automation Engineers, and cybersecurity professionals to support a rich multi-container service architecture using software packages such as OpenShift and Helm Charts.
- Prepare, coordinate, and review documentation describing the application architecture, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts.
- Support cybersecurity efforts to ensure DoD certification and accreditation (C&A) processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, are properly applied to maintain correct system cybersecurity configuration management.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor of Science from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development using languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS.
- Experience working directly with cloud-container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Strong background in object-oriented software-engineering principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps pipeline tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum software methodologies and tools.
- This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a Secret DoD clearance., * 5+ years of experience in software development using languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS.
- CompTIA Security+
- Scrum Master or Scrum Developer certification
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.
Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also engaging with the team in person at the client office as needed based on workload. Estimated to work at least 3 days in-person. Travel <5%.
