Job description

Stable Office Solutions is a modern behavioral health operating platform (EMR) designed for substance use disorder treatment centers, mental health organizations, and healthcare providers.

The platform is currently in the refinement, optimization, and scaling phase as we continue preparing for broader implementation and growth.

Our goal is to modernize behavioral healthcare operations with software designed around real clinical and operational workflows.

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join on an initial contract or contract-to-hire basis as an early/core team member.

This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with leadership to help refine, optimize, expand, and scale the platform.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, can think strategically, and can help strengthen both the technical infrastructure and product experience as the company grows.

This is not a maintenance-only role. You will help shape ongoing architecture decisions, scalability, feature expansion, and long-term technical direction.

Duties

  • Refine and expand frontend and backend platform systems
  • Optimize APIs, database architecture, and application performance
  • Strengthen HIPAA-conscious workflows and permissions systems
  • Collaborate on AI-assisted product enhancements
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and infrastructure
  • Participate in technical architecture and infrastructure planning
  • Help establish engineering standards and long-term development processes
  • Work directly with leadership on roadmap priorities and implementation strategy

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Strong experience with:

  • React / Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js / Express.js
  • PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  • RESTful API architecture and development
  • Authentication and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS preferred; Azure experience is a plus)
  • Git/GitHub workflows
  • Linux server environments

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare or HIPAA-related experience
  • Supabase
  • AI/LLM integrations
  • Third-party API integrations
  • Real-time systems
  • EHR/EMR workflow experience
  • Startup or early-stage company experience
