Job description

  • Answer questions and solve problems for customers regarding product operation.
  • Analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
  • Work as part of a team or independently.
  • Perform testing procedures to determine cause of problem and implement solutions.
  • Train users on proper operation of equipment.

Ideal Skills:

  • Virtualisation: Xen Server (XCP), VMWare
  • VoIP: Asterisk/FreePBX , 3CX, SIP knowledge an advantage
  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Licensing, NCE, SPLA
  • Azure
  • Strong network design and diagnostics -VPNs, VLANs, Wifi
  • Commercial awareness
  • Hardware: Watchguard, Draytek, Dell -Servers and Switches, Yealink, Cisco
  • Full clean driving license

Requirements

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team to provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, organised, detail-oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills and a wealth of technical knowledge. This position will require a high level of commitment, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. The salary is dependent on skills and experience, up to the maximum stated.
