Job description

My client is an award-winning Shopify Plus agency that partners with ambitious direct-to-consumer brands across the food, drink, beauty and wellness sectors. They design, build and grow exceptional e-commerce experiences, helping exciting brands scale through a combination of technical expertise, commercial thinking and innovative growth strategies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a talented team of designers, developers, growth specialists and strategists who are passionate about delivering outstanding results for their clients.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves consumer brands, has a genuine interest in e-commerce, and wants to make a real commercial impact.

Working closely with the Head of Growth, you’ll support a portfolio of ambitious DTC brands, helping to develop growth strategies and deliver practical marketing initiatives across the entire customer journey.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across paid media, CRM and retention, SEO, conversion optimisation and analytics, while working alongside experienced specialists who will help develop your skills and career.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the development of full-funnel growth strategies across acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Help identify growth opportunities using data and customer insights.
  • Analyse performance using Shopify, GA4, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity and other reporting platforms.
  • Assist in managing and optimising paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat.
  • Produce creative briefs for paid media assets.
  • Support SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) initiatives.
  • Monitor and interpret key e-commerce metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, MER and contribution margin.
  • Build and maintain clear, insightful client dashboards using Looker Studio.
  • Contribute to client meetings and planning sessions alongside senior team members.
  • Work collaboratively with Paid Media, Retention, Design, Development and Account Management teams to deliver outstanding client results.

Requirements

You’ll already have around two years’ experience within digital marketing, growth marketing or e-commerce and be looking to develop your career within a fast-paced agency environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Around 2+ years’ experience within digital marketing, growth marketing or e-commerce.
  • Experience working with Shopify (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with confidence interpreting marketing data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, organised approach with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A genuine interest in consumer brands and the e-commerce landscape.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies, platforms and AI tools.

Agency experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary of £35,000
  • Opportunity to work from Exeter, Bristol or London
  • Extensive training and mentoring from experienced Growth specialists
  • Shopify accredited training and certifications
  • Exposure to exciting consumer brands across food, drink, beauty and wellness
  • A collaborative, ambitious and supportive team environment
  • Excellent long-term career development opportunities *
