Job description
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding online pharmacy team.
Unlike traditional community pharmacy roles, you’ll be involved in every stage of the patient journey; from reviewing online consultations and supplying medicines in accordance with approved Patient Group Directions (PGDs), through to preparing medication for safe and secure delivery by courier.
Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience, we’d like to hear from you. Full training will be provided, including all aspects of our online pharmacy services and PGD processes.
About the Role
Working alongside our wider team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and efficient access to private pharmacy services.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within one of the fastest-growing areas of pharmacy, gaining experience that extends far beyond a traditional dispensary role.
Requirements
- Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable using IT systems and learning new software.
- Able to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
- A confident communicator with a patient-focused approach.
- Passionate about delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
We welcome applications from pharmacy technicians with varying levels of experience. Previous experience within an online pharmacy or working with PGDs is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
ACT accreditation is not essential, and we’re happy to consider the right candidate regardless of whether they hold this qualification.
