Job description

The Senior IT Help Desk Specialist / Tier II Endpoint Administrator is responsible for providing advanced technical support and administration across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and cloud environments. This role involves Tier II and Tier III troubleshooting, endpoint management, identity and access support, and direct customer service to ensure efficient IT operations and user satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft Intune.
  • Manage Entra ID and Active Directory including MFA troubleshooting.
  • Deploy and image endpoints, provide desktop engineering support.
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Maintain asset inventory and assist with patch management.
  • Resolve issues through ServiceNow/help desk ticketing system.
  • Provide support for conference room technology.
  • Participate in Zero Trust compliance activities.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes., Special Considerations:
  • May require adherence to strict security and compliance standards such as Zero Trust.
  • Support for conference room technology may require occasional off-hours availability.

Scheduling:

  • Standard business hours with potential for extended support hours as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of desktop support experience.
  • 3+ years of enterprise endpoint administration experience.
  • Strong customer support and communication skills.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Experience working in a federal environment.
