Job description
- Provide insights on reader engagement and content performance to inform newsroom strategy.
- Develop an understanding of editorial workflows, audience behaviour and business priorities, and apply this context when interpreting data.
- Communicate findings clearly, tailoring outputs to different audiences and explaining context and limitations.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and other teams to support feature development, experimentation and performance analysis.

Requirements
- Experience working with data using SQL (in a professional or academic setting).
- Understanding of core analytical concepts (e.g. averages, distributions, basic statistical testing).
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker).
- Ability to think logically about problems and break them down into manageable analyses.
- Comfortable working with stakeholders and building positive working relationships.

Salary ranges are dependent on skills and experience., You’ll have 30 days of annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase an additional 5 days. Our pension scheme is generous; if you contribute 5% then we will contribute 8-12% (depending on your age).
