Job description

The Data Analytics Analyst designs, develops, and supports enterprise data, reporting, and analytics solutions. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen data governance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and BI tools with the ability to communicate findings to business leaders. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
  • Gather and document business, reporting, and data requirements.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Improve data quality, governance, security, and adoption across the organization.
  • Re-engineer legacy reports and analytics assets to support modern reporting capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, data definitions, and workflow diagrams.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new technologies and reporting tools to enhance the data ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
  • Advanced SQL development and query optimization experience.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data lifecycle management, and data governance.
  • Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple enterprise applications.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills., * Healthcare industry experience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data regulations.
  • Experience with healthcare systems including Epic, MEDITECH, Cerner, Athena, eCW, Allscripts, Intelerad, or Quest.
  • Familiarity with PACS, imaging systems, and voice recognition platforms.
  • Experience with real-time transactional and operational reporting environments.
