Job description
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and evolve our CRM and Email Platform capabilities. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmap initiatives, and partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver scalable customer engagement solutions. You will lead products that power customer communications across email and CRM channels, helping improve acquisition, activation, retention, and lifecycle marketing while ensuring reliability, compliance, and measurable business impact. Responsibilities * Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for CRM and email platform capabilities.
- Partner with Marketing, Growth, Sales, and Customer Success teams to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Own the backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven product decisions.
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Drive improvements in customer segmentation, audience management, campaign automation, personalization, and reporting.
- Define KPIs and success metrics, monitor product performance, and continuously optimize user outcomes.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to leverage customer data for better engagement and conversion.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, deliverability, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
- Conduct customer research, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership
Requirements
5+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of customer-facing or internal platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and/or email marketing platforms
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, automation, and personalization.
- Experience working with engineering teams in Agile environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience writing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Segment, mParticle, or RudderStack.
- Familiarity with APIs, event-driven architectures, and marketing integrations.
- Knowledge of email deliverability, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and messaging best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience working with AI-powered personalization or customer engagement products.
- Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology companies.
