Senior mobile software engineer

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture, quality, and evolution of our mobile applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-impact features while continuously improving performance, scalability, and maintainability. Beyond coding, you’ll act as a technical reference within the team, contributing to best practices, mentoring peers, and influencing technical decisions. This is an opportunity to build meaningful products used by real customers while helping scale a modern mobile engineering culture.

Jobübersicht: What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter
• Drive architectural decisions and promote scalable, maintainable solutions
• Own the full mobile lifecycle: from development to release and monitoring
• Continuously improve app performance, reliability, and user experience
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and security
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery
• Collaborate in Agile squads, actively participating in planning and delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical hiring efforts
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and development workflows

• 8+ years of experience in mobile development, with strong expertise in Flutter and Dart
• Tech leadership for junior developers
• Solid understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Bloc, Provider, Riverpod)
• Experience integrating APIs (REST, JSON)
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns and best practices
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing strategies (unit, widget, integration tests)
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Codemagic)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience using AI tools to meaningfully improve development efficiency
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Valid EU work permit or eligibility to work in the EU

Nice to Have

• Experience with native mobile development (iOS: Swift/Objective-C, Android: Kotlin/Java)
• Previous experience in Agile environments
• Background in FinTech or banking products
• Familiarity with Firebase ecosystem
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Italian language skills
