Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Website Content Migration Assistant for a temporary contract role. This role involves supporting the seamless transfer of website content from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to project coordination., * Build and publish webpages using approved SME provided content outlines. Ensure accuracy, consistency with style guides, and plain language usage to provide a consistent user experience.

  • Review content for clarity - identify issues and communicate needed edits back to SMEs and the project manager.
  • Track and maintain progress towards the project timelines ensuring work is completed on schedule.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and system changes to the website project manager, providing updates to project team members, and updating page building guidance as needed.
  • Audit to ensure webpage builds meet quality expectations including readability, accessibility, functional programming, and a consistent plain language voice.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of website creation and maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Umbraco desired but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
