Job description

  • Design & Develop: Architect, build, and maintain resilient backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Full Stack Integration: Build and support modern full stack web applications, seamlessly integrating backend APIs with frontend component libraries.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead design sessions, make foundational architecture decisions, and write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Security & Performance: Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and security. Ensure systems adhere to strict corporate compliance and security policies.
  • Troubleshoot: Debug complex production issues (including identity, session management, and database bottlenecks) and implement permanent, sustainable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Cloud Engineers. Actively mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to design, build, and maintain scalable applications and backend services that support Client’s business operations and customer-facing solutions. This role combines advanced backend engineering expertise with front-end integration experience to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise software architecture, API design, cloud platforms, and modern web security, with a proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Experience: 8+ years of professional full stack and backend software development experience. Backend Mastery: Strong, hands-on experience in at least one core backend language (e.g., C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript). Frontend Knowledge: Experience with modern frontend frameworks (ideally React or Angular), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. API & Database Design: Extensive experience designing, securing, and consuming RESTful APIs, alongside solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Enterprise Security: Solid understanding of secure coding practices, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, SAML, and directory integrations (e.g., Active Directory). Accessibility: Strong understanding of and experience with accessibility standards (WCAG). Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) using Git and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservice orchestration.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience developing reusable design systems or custom UI component libraries.
  • Prior experience working within a utility, energy, or highly regulated industry.
