Job description

  • Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, covering functional, performance, security, and reliability aspects.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage.
  • Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs to improve efficiency and regression testing capabilities.
  • Reporting: Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports on API quality and performance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities to identify and diagnose API issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting findings.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in QA automation tools, AEM (Adobe experience manager).
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Rest Assured, Selenium for integration with UI testing).
