Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure and modernization initiatives for a government client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise technology projects, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and delivering projects involving infrastructure upgrades, cloud technologies, application modernization, and system integrations. Responsibilities
- Lead multiple enterprise IT projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
- Coordinate infrastructure, application development, database, cloud, security, and vendor teams.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with architects and technical leads to identify project impacts, implementation risks, and deployment strategies.
- Manage vendor and contractor deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Support infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and enterprise technology initiatives.

Requirements
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure or technical IT projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong risk, issue, and resource management experience.
- Knowledge of PMI, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- PMP Certification., * Experience with infrastructure modernization, server upgrades, migrations, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, cloud platforms, networking, or enterprise applications.
- Experience working with architects, infrastructure engineers, and software development teams.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Planner, or similar project management tools.
- Public sector or government project experience.
