Job description

We are looking for someone who will help decide where Allego expands its charging network across Europe. In this role, you work at the intersection of data, mobility and infrastructure. You analyse where demand exists today, where it will grow, and which locations make sense from both a market and investment perspective. This is not a traditional finance role focused on reporting or budgeting. The focus is on real-world decisions: selecting the right locations for charging stations and supporting infrastructure investment choices with data. You will be part of the Network Planning team in Berlin and work closely with teams such as Network Development, Product, Finance and Operations.

What you will do

  • Identify attractive locations for EV charging stations using data such as traffic flows, EV adoption and user behaviour
  • Analyse market dynamics, including competition, coverage gaps and regional demand drivers
  • Translate data into clear investment recommendations for expanding the charging network
  • Build business cases to compare location opportunities and support decision making
  • Work with large datasets and turn them into structured and actionable insights
  • Continuously improve how we assess locations and markets as we scale across Europe

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, You enjoy working with data, but your motivation comes from applying it to real-world decisions in infrastructure, mobility or energy.

You bring:

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Engineering, Data Science or similar

  • Around 3 years of experience in data analysis, investment analysis or modelling within infrastructure, mobility, energy or a related domain
  • Experience with market analysis or location-based decision making
  • Strong skills in building business cases and translating assumptions into insights
  • Confidence working with data in Excel and ideally tools like SQL, Python or Power BI
  • A clear interest in how EV charging, mobility and infrastructure networks develop
  • You are able to manage your own work and communicate clearly with different stakeholders
  • You are fluent in English and based in Europe

Good to have, considered a plus:

Experience with EV charging, energy or mobility sectors

Experience with spatial or location analysis

Benefits & conditions

  • A salary between 60k and 70k per year
  • An international and collaborative environment
  • The opportunity to work on decisions that directly shape EV infrastructure across Europe
  • A role with visible impact on the energy transition

Interested

If you like combining data, market insight and real-world investment decisions, and want to contribute to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure, we would like to hear from you.

About the company

Allego builds and operates fast and ultra-fast EV charging infrastructure across Europe. Our goal is simple: enable drivers to charge where and when they need it, and accelerate the shift to zero-emission mobility.
