Job description

A local computer repair and managed IT services company is seeking a temporary Computer Technician to assist with increased workload and provide short-term coverage.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who can step in quickly and work independently with minimal training.

Preferred experience includes:

Windows PC troubleshooting and repair
Virus and malware removal
Software and hardware troubleshooting
Network troubleshooting (wired and wireless)
Microsoft 365 and Office 365 support
Printer and peripheral support
Basic Windows Server and Active Directory experience
Experience supporting small business environments
Strong customer service and communication skills

Benefits & conditions

Duration: Approximately 1-3 weeks
Hours: 30-40 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Jenison/Hudsonville area with occasional travel to local client sites
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Position Type: Temporary 1099 Contractor
Company vehicle available for client visits
