Job description

  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for clinical and business applications.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including participant guides, job aids, eLearning modules, and video tutorials.
  • Design and implement training programs for new system implementations and upgrades.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and end-user training.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support post-implementation optimization and remediation training.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams and department leaders to ensure successful user adoption.
  • Stay current with healthcare technology and application enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2-3+ years of healthcare IT training experience.
  • Hands-on experience training users on Cerner Ambulatory and Inpatient applications.
  • Experience developing training materials and instructional content.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to understand healthcare business and clinical workflows.
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (approximately 70% onsite) in Los Angeles, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Kronos, Lawson, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Experience creating eLearning content and training scripts.
  • Experience using SnagIt or similar screen-capture software.
  • Experience supporting EMR implementations, upgrades, or go-live activities.
  • Experience working in large healthcare project environments., * Bachelor’s (Preferred), * healthcare IT training: 2 years (Required)
