Support Designer I

Reporting directly to the Design Supervisor, this position will be responsible to work in conjunction with the project Engineer to produce P&ID’s and the detailed drawings required for each individual project., * Drafting P&IDs under the direction of engineering

• Detailing construction drawings from 3D models provided by project designers
• Follow industry and established Company engineering/design standards
• Work closely with project designers to ensure accuracy of scope
• Prioritizing project workload to ensure drawing dates are met
• Accountability for adhering to the project budget for design hours
• Helping to develop and maintain company design standards and associated documentation

Your education and experience include:

• Bachelor’s Degree, associate’s degree, Diploma or Technical School Training in ME, EE, Computer Aided Design Technology or related field
• Proficient in Autocad, CadWorx, and Vault
• Strong creative mechanical and structural design ability
• Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• 2+ years drafting P&IDs and understanding of line types and symbology.
• 2+ years detailing piping, structural or vessel drawings
• Knowledge reciprocating natural gas compression packages, oil & gas equipment or modular assemblies including piping and structural components.
• Experience with SolidWorks
