Job description

GUIGC Software Solutions Ltd. is seeking a skilled Server Administrator to join our IT team in Deeside. This role is ideal for someone experienced in managing servers, maintaining system performance, and ensuring secure and reliable infrastructure., * Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers

Manage Windows Server and Linux environments
Monitor system performance, uptime, and security
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies
Perform system updates, patching, and backup management
Implement and test disaster recovery procedures
Troubleshoot server, storage, and network-related issues
Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
Maintain documentation for systems and infrastructure

Requirements

Proven experience as a Server Administrator, Systems Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux systems
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies
Understanding of networking fundamentals and security practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have (Not Required):

Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
