North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA is looking to hire a Full-Time IT Support Technician to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. As an IT Support Technician at North 40, you will serve as the first point of contact for the IT Department, providing exceptional customer service while assisting employees in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. This role requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual who communicates effectively, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to delivering efficient and accurate technical support via phone, email, and other support channels.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Schedule flexibility is required, as shifts may vary based on business needs and may occasionally include weekends and certain holidays.

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT help desk, desktop support, or technical support experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications.

  • Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, printers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, barcode/RF scanners, and related technology.

  • Familiarity with telecommunications technologies, including phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radio frequency devices.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Experience using an IT Service Management (ITSM) or help desk ticketing system to document, prioritize, and resolve support requests.

  • Ability to install, configure, maintain, and support computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

  • Experience implementing software updates, hardware upgrades, and routine system maintenance.

  • Ability to research technical issues, identify effective solutions, and appropriately escalate complex problems when necessary.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing timely follow-up on open support requests.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to users of varying technical abilities.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive company information.

  • Commitment to following company policies, safeguarding company assets, and supporting a safe and secure work environment.

  • The ability to adapt from sitting for periods of time to standing and walking for periods of time; lift 20-50 pounds on an occasional basis while using correct lifting, loading, and carrying techniques; and bend, stoop, crawl, and climb.

  • Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-10 lbs. continuously, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and 25-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs.
