Job description
Torch Technologies is seeking a to join a team supporting the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) under the TMAS2 Tenants contract effort on Eglin AFB, FL.
As a your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Work with a team of software engineers in the development and implementation of software systems that support acquisition processes.
- Evaluate the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, tools, and interfaces that enable efficient and effective acquisition processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for software systems, including functional, allocated and product baseline requirements.
- Oversee the integration of software systems with existing acquisition systems.
- Review documentation related to software systems, processes, and procedures, including user manuals, technical guides, and training materials. Identify gaps in the documentation, including areas where information is missing or unclear. Provide feedback and recommendations for improving the documentation, including suggestions for reorganization, rewriting, or adding new content.
- Review testing plans and test procedures to ensure software systems meet requirements and are free from defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including acquisition and logistics teams, to ensure software systems meet requirements.
- Ensure software systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
Requirements
- Must possess a Masterâs degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent discipline.
- Must have at least 10 years in computer engineering experience or equivalent. Additional 2 yearsâ of relevant experience may be substituted to satisfy degree requirement.

The candidate should have a Secret Clearance within the last 5 years with Top Secret eligibility.
- Experience with developing/reviewing technical writings
- Experience with interacting/collaborating with Independent Verification Organizations
- E xperience working in an acquisition program office / buying organization
