Job description
Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager to establish and enhance its Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capability across the EMEA region. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the complete hardware asset lifecycle, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and cost optimisation within a highly regulated enterprise environment., * Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets from procurement through to secure disposal.
- Develop and implement hardware asset management policies, standards and processes.
- Maintain accurate enterprise asset records using ServiceNow (or equivalent CMDB/ITAM platform).
- Improve asset data quality through reconciliation and governance initiatives.
- Produce reporting and dashboards covering asset utilisation, compliance and lifecycle status.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and asset records.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance and Technology teams to optimise asset utilisation and costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Manage secure disposal of end-of-life hardware in line with security and environmental policies.
- Deliver guidance and training to operational teams on asset management processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience within IT Asset Management or IT Operations.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and CMDB management.
- Experience using ServiceNow ITAM or similar asset management platforms.
- Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation
- CHAMP or CITAM certification
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks including DORA
