Job description
As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will work within a collaborative, agile team to design and develop advanced industrial automation products. You will contribute across the full hardware development lifecycle, including circuit design, integration, testing, and compliance, while building technical expertise in a mentorship-driven environment., * Design and development: Contribute to hardware architecture, design, and verification of industrial automation products
- Prototype testing: Program, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic hardware prototypes
- Documentation: Prepare design documentation, test plans, and reports
- Innovation: Support research on new technologies, tools, and design methods
- Test automation: Collaborate to implement automated testing and simulation solutions
- Cross-functional collaboration: Build relationships to understand the end-to-end product development lifecycle
- Continuous improvement: Help refine engineering practices and development processes

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Work authorization: Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Visa policy: No visa sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on hardware product development experience
- Design skills: Ability to use design tools and interpret schematics
- Circuit knowledge: Strong understanding of circuit theory, microprocessors, digital and analog systems, and power electronics
- Test equipment: Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and other lab tools
- Programming: Knowledge of Python and/or C++ for testing and automation
- Agile environment: Experience working in a scaled Agile development framework
- Compliance: Familiarity with safety standards (IEC61508) and EMC standards (IEC61000)
- Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, ownership, communication, and teamwork
- Mindset: Demonstrates a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and mentor others
