Job description

Start: Expected within the coming weeks (subject to project approval)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major structured cabling and network infrastructure project in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile installation, managing the delivery of structured cabling and IT infrastructure works from planning through to completion., * Manage the end-to-end delivery of structured cabling projects.

  • Plan and coordinate project programmes and site activities.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare project plans.
  • Manage engineering teams and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Manage project reporting, commercial performance and risk.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards., This is a 6-month contract with an immediate pipeline of work once the project receives final approval.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing structured cabling and network infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fibre optic installations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing engineering teams on live commercial projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver multiple workstreams.
