Managing projects from bid stage and pre-construction through to completion and handover
Developing and managing project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedules
Coordinating design development, procurement, materials and site resources
Managing structured cabling, network and wider smart building technology installations
Overseeing subcontractors, technical teams and installation resource on site
Managing project budgets, cash flow, valuations and overall commercial performance
Holding responsibility for project P&L and ensuring work is delivered within agreed margins
Working closely with clients, main contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders
Coordinating testing and commissioning, including fibre and copper testing requirements
Managing project documentation, O&M information and as-built records
Supporting pre-sales and bid teams with programme, resource and operational input
Leading project handovers and ensuring a smooth transition into support and maintenance teams
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site compliance throughout delivery

Strong experience managing ICT, structured cabling, smart building or technology infrastructure projects
Ideally 5+ years’ experience within a similar Project Manager position
Good understanding of copper and fibre structured cabling systems
Experience managing patching, WAP installations and associated network infrastructure
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover
Experience managing subcontractors and technical installation teams
Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, project costs, variations and P&L
Good understanding of testing, commissioning, quality control and project documentation
Experience across security systems, AV, IoT or wired and wireless networks would be advantageous.
Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, CTPM, SMSTS or ECS would also be beneficial, although strong relevant project experience will be the key consideration.
