Job description
An award-winning design-led practice is seeking a talented and committed Architect to join its London studio. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of regenerative and sustainable projects throughout the UK, ranging from large-scale masterplans and education projects to hospitality, residential and community-focused developments., * Lead and contribute to innovative design solutions across a variety of project sectors and RIBA stages
- Prepare architectural design proposals, drawings, presentations, specifications and technical information
- Manage client relationships and coordinate consultant teams throughout project delivery
- Attend and lead meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, CDM and the Building Safety Act
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers and surveyors through construction stages
- Take ownership of project programmes, budgets and project delivery
- Support planning applications and stakeholder consultation processes
- Engage with local communities and project stakeholders to deliver inclusive, people-centred design outcomes
- Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes
- Assist with business development activities, including tender submissions, bids and presentations
Requirements
- ARB Registered Architect
- Experience managing projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Strong design, technical and project management skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
- Experience leading small teams and mentoring junior staff
- Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM and Building Safety requirements
- Knowledge of planning application procedures
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Passion for sustainable and regenerative design
- Interest in landscape, ecology and heritage-led projects
- Rendering skills (Enscape, V-Ray or similar) desirable
- Hand drawing skills advantageous
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
