Job description

An award-winning design-led practice is seeking a talented and committed Architect to join its London studio. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of regenerative and sustainable projects throughout the UK, ranging from large-scale masterplans and education projects to hospitality, residential and community-focused developments., * Lead and contribute to innovative design solutions across a variety of project sectors and RIBA stages

Prepare architectural design proposals, drawings, presentations, specifications and technical information
Manage client relationships and coordinate consultant teams throughout project delivery
Attend and lead meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, CDM and the Building Safety Act
Coordinate with contractors, engineers and surveyors through construction stages
Take ownership of project programmes, budgets and project delivery
Support planning applications and stakeholder consultation processes
Engage with local communities and project stakeholders to deliver inclusive, people-centred design outcomes
Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes
Assist with business development activities, including tender submissions, bids and presentations

Requirements

ARB Registered Architect
Experience managing projects across multiple RIBA stages
Strong design, technical and project management skills
Excellent working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
Experience leading small teams and mentoring junior staff
Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM and Building Safety requirements
Knowledge of planning application procedures
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Passion for sustainable and regenerative design
Interest in landscape, ecology and heritage-led projects
Rendering skills (Enscape, V-Ray or similar) desirable
Hand drawing skills advantageous
Fluent written and spoken English
Eligibility to work in the UK
