Job description

As HSQE Manager, you will lead and support continuous improvement across the business, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards., * Delivering toolbox talks and wider H&S, environmental and quality training

  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Maintaining CHAS and ISO14001:2015 accreditations
  • Supporting ISO9001:2015 standards and quality systems
  • Leading accident investigations and driving risk reduction initiatives
  • Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Developing policies, procedures and compliance documentation
  • Promoting sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
  • Coordinating Health, Safety and Environmental meetings
  • Supporting wider compliance, training and operational initiatives

Requirements

We’re working with a well-established and fast-growing commercial services provider operating across the South of England, employing around 1,000 people and supporting a diverse portfolio of 450 sites across education, healthcare, office and leisure sectors. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering the opportunity to shape and influence Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across the organisation. The position combines both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, with flexible working across home, head office in Wokingham and regular site travel. It would suit someone proactive, adaptable and self-motivated, with a logical approach, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels., You’ll be a proactive and confident HSQE professional with experience operating in a multi-site environment., * Experience within cleaning, facilities management or a similar service-led sector

  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, CHAS and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with COSHH, risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Strong Microsoft Office and document control skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, * Do you have previous experience working within cleaning, facilities management or a similar service-led sector?
  • Do you hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent)?
