Full-Stack Lead Engineer

We’re hiring a Full-Stack Lead Engineer to take ownership of our engineering architecture, guide best practices, and ship core product features across web, mobile, and backend. You’ll work directly with the founding team (Product, Design, and CTO), and play a key role in bringing to life our AI agent workflows, automation systems, and real-time career insights. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to grow into Head of Engineering as the team scales. What Youll Do

• Lead full-stack development: Contribute across our platform, React (web), Node.js (backend), React Native (mobile).
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product and Design to scope, plan, and deliver features.
• Build AI-powered workflows: Support features built around AI agents, voice interactions, and n8n automations.
• Mentor and guide engineers: Establish code quality standards, review PRs, and help grow the team.
• Own infrastructure: Manage performance, scalability, and reliability of our services, hosted on Azure.
• Iterate fast: Embrace a builder mindset prototype quickly, ship, learn, improve.

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (React, Node.js, REST APIs)
• Experience leading projects or small engineering teams
• Comfort working with React Native or mobile-first development
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment workflows
• Exposure to AI-driven product features (e.g., GPT APIs, voice agents, intelligent UIs)

• Based in Portugal or Spain with fluent English communication skills Nice-to-Haves

• Experience using AI-enhanced developer tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Clide, or similar IDEs
• Experience with n8n, Zapier, or similar no-code/low-code tools
• Interest in building for edtech, jobtech, or social-impact platforms
• Familiarity with UX collaboration and fast-paced product iteration
