Job description
- Hands-on experience with legal technology platforms and knowledge systems (including Foundation/Litera).
- Develop practical skills in data analysis, including mapping repositories to client/matter metadata.
- Perform data quality checks and contribute to reporting that drives decision-making.
- Build experience in documenting processes and supporting enterprise-level data governance initiatives.
Responsibilities
File Share & Box Reorganization and Data Inventory
- Assist with reviewing and organizing legacy and active content stored on file shares and Box locations.
- Analyze content stored in these repositories and assist with mapping repositories to client and matter numbers.
- Research repository names and metadata to identify corresponding clients and matters.
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets and documentation of findings.
- Flag repositories requiring additional review or validation.
- Assist with reporting and data quality checks.
- Support efforts to improve repository organization and governance.
Foundation (Litera) Support and Content Updates
- Assist with Foundation-related administrative and content management tasks.
- Support content and data updates.
- Help document processes and training materials.
- Provide project support to the Foundation team as needed.
Expected Deliverables
- Organized data inventories and tracking reports.
- Client/matter mapping documentation for Box repositories.
- Process documentation and Foundation support materials.
- Recommendations for improving repository organization and data quality.
Requirements
Ideal Candidates
- Detail-oriented individuals who take pride in accuracy and organization
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic data analysis) and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools
- Self-motivated problem solvers interested in tackling real-world data governance and organization challenges
- Interest in legal technology, knowledge management, or information governance is a plu
Desired Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in legal technology, knowledge management, content management, or information governance.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Box, or document management systems is helpful but not required.
Benefits & conditions
