Architect - VMware Avi Load Balancer (NSX / AVI)

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead the strategic design and end-to-end implementation of the VMware Avi Load Balancer within a VCF 9.1 private cloud environment for a large financial organization. You will serve as the primary delivery consultant for modernizing application delivery, ensuring seamless integration across Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), NSX networking, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VM workload environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead strategic design and full lifecycle implementation of VMware Avi Load Balancer within a VCF 9.1 private cloud
• Serve as primary delivery consultant for application delivery modernization
• Ensure seamless integration across VPCs, NSX networking, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and traditional VM workloads
• Configure and automate Avi Load Balancer environments to enterprise standards
• Guide client stakeholders through complex digital transformation initiatives, balancing technical depth with clear communication

• Deep technical mastery of VMware Avi Load Balancer configuration and automation
• Strong hands-on experience with NSX networking in a VCF environment (VCF 9.1 experience a plus)
• Experience integrating load balancing across hybrid environments: VPC, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VM workloads
• Prior experience as a primary/lead delivery consultant on enterprise transformation projects
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry
• Comfortable operating independently in a remote, client-facing delivery role

$100 - $150 an hour - Full-time, Contract
