Job description

  • Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Implement automation for system provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure secure and compliant system operations.
  • Optimize performance and availability of enterprise systems including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure operations.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, administration and Cloud Ops.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms - Azure preferred.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Git Ops, Ansible, Terraform, Claude AI.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, service mesh technologies, monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus), and logging frameworks.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2).
  • Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures., * Experience in fintech or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise networking.
  • Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or technical publications.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.

Benefits & conditions

The targeted full-time base salary for this position is $87,500 to $131,100 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.

This position is classified as structured hybrid, with an expectation of a minimum of three (3) days per week working in the office and flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
