Job description

PSG, a fast-growing construction and infrastructure firm specializing in mission-critical environments, is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team delivering high-performance data center projects in Ohio. You will be responsible for the design, coordination, and construction support of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in mission-critical facilities., * Design and coordinate MEP systems for data center facilities

  • Develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Coordinate closely with structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals from contractors
  • Provide technical support during construction and resolve field MEP issues
  • Ensure designs meet all applicable codes, client standards, and project requirements
  • Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering
  • Conduct site visits to verify installation quality and system performance
  • Support commissioning and startup of MEP systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 5 years of MEP design experience
  • Experience on data center or mission-critical projects is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering calculation software
  • Familiar with relevant codes including IBC, IMC, NEC, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
