Job description
We’re looking for a customer-focused, technically curious Technical Support Specialist who enjoys solving complex technical problems independently. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting Windows environments, Microsoft SQL Server databases, networking, and application issues while delivering exceptional customer experience. You’ll take ownership of customer issues from initial contact through resolution, collaborating with internal teams when needed while exercising sound technical judgment and initiative. This is a full-time remote position, giving you the opportunity to work from your home office while supporting customers across the United States.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Eastern
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, independently diagnosing and resolving software, database, and system issues.
- Troubleshoot issues involving Conest Software running on Windows operating systems, networking, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Provide phone, email, and web-based technical support while delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the CRM and Help Desk system.
- Escalate complex issues when appropriate, while taking ownership of problems through resolution whenever possible.
- Identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with Development and Product teams to improve our customer’s experience.
- Maintain and contribute to the company’s knowledge base and internal documentation.
- Prepare regular support activity and issue status reports for management.

- Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, Azure & LogmeIn
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in technical support, software support, or a customer-facing technology role.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate progress and issue status effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex software, database, and networking issues with minimal supervision.
- Candidate must have reliable high-speed internet connectivity and a dedicated work from home office space
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server configuration and installation.
- Experience using CRM, ticketing, or Help Desk platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies., * Bachelor’s (Preferred)
