We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the ongoing modernization of a complex, cloud-based enterprise platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on large-scale systems-balancing new development with stabilization of existing applications.

You’ll collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams to implement scalable solutions, improve system design, and help drive consistency across services in a distributed environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and support RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations
  • Contribute to front-end updates, including Angular upgrades and modular UI architecture
  • Develop solutions in AWS using containerization, serverless compute, and managed data services
  • Identify and reduce technical debt, including framework and dependency upgrades
  • Implement automated testing to improve reliability and release confidence
  • Partner with DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Background in microservices architecture and system modernization
  • Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Engineering Environment

  • Modern microservices architecture with ongoing legacy modernization
  • Cloud-native development in AWS
  • Strong emphasis on scalability, observability, and maintainability
  • Collaborative, fast-moving engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with micro-frontend architectures
  • Exposure to developer productivity or platform tools
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks

Benefits & conditions
