Job description

We are seeking a Manager, Clinical Applications Solutions to lead the design, development, and optimization of end-to-end clinical workflows within our various Clinical Applications, with particular emphasis on our Electronic Health Record (EHR) AthenaOne. This leadership role, reporting to the Director, Clinical Applications and Product Development, will manage a team of Clinical Applications Solutions Specialists and serve as a strategic partner to Clinical, Operational, and Product teams.

This role will function as the process development and application subject matter expert arm of the Clinical Applications team-ensuring that workflows are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business priorities while delivering an exceptional clinical user experience., * Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Applications Solutions Specialists

  • Oversee the design and optimization of end-to-end workflows within AthenaOne
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership and stakeholders to identify high-impact problems and solutions
  • Translate business priorities into actionable roadmap items and workflow improvements
  • Act as a senior subject matter expert on Clinical Applications tools including AI-native encounters, Population Intelligence, and Quality tools
  • Guide evaluation and implementation of Athena Marketplace vendors or third-party solutions
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards
  • Stay current on product releases and ensure team readiness for new features of all supported Clinical Applications
  • Collaborate with Product and Clinical Operations to drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee development of training materials, job aids, and enablement strategies
  • Ensure consistent documentation, governance, and change management practices

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 4-6 years working with Electronic Health Records, preferably AthenaOne
  • Experience in clinical workflow design, process improvement, or clinical informatics
  • Experience managing teams or leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated success driving operational or clinical technology improvements

  • Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, MIPS, HEDIS)
  • Expertise in EHR workflows, configuration, and optimization
  • Familiarity with integrating or evaluating third-party healthcare technologies, with a strong emphasis on AI tools supplementary sources of patient data

  • Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with clinical audiences
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process design capabilities
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills aligned to business goals
