Network/Systems Administrator - San Diego, CA

Come Join Our Team! DKW Communications, Inc. (DKW) is a government contractor providing professional and technical services to various government agencies i.e. defense, law enforcement and security. We are currently looking for a Network/Systems Administrator to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our Nay SWMTS contract. This is an onsite position located in San Diego, CA.

Overview

The Network/Systems Administrator will be responsible for:

• Installing and updating Operating Systems
• Software installation and administration
• Performing backup procedures
• Setting up a network to support modelling/simulation and emulating systems used on the bridge of US Navy ships
• Installing and configuring network switches
• Information Assurance competencyIT skillset and Systems Administration background

• An active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required
• At a minimum, must be a graduate of an accredited technical or computer school, with related training classes. May substitute additional 4 years of relevant work experience for education requirement.

• 5 years of relevant work experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronics equipment, large computers, mini-computers, or microprocessors - including those in a networked environment.

• Looking for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience with building and configuring within ACAS
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the Information Assurance field.
