Job description

The Supply Chain ERP Specialist is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving Supply Chain business processes within the ECI MAX ERP (MAX) system. This position serves as the primary liaison between Supply Chain operations and Information Technology, ensuring that purchasing, inventory, planning, and manufacturing processes are efficient, standardized, and effectively supported by the ERP system., The Supply Chain ERP Specialist will work closely with Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and IT to identify process improvement opportunities, implement best practices, improve data integrity, and maximize operational performance. Requirements:

Job Functions:

  • Serve as the SME and business process owner for Supply Chain functions within MAX.
  • Proactively study, explore, and master out-of-the-box functions, configuration options, and advanced features within MAX.
  • Evaluate current ERP workflows and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate manual processes/workarounds, and increase data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and business process documentation.
  • Train users on Supply Chain business processes and ERP best practices.
  • Audit adherence to SOPs to enforce uniform data entry standards to ensure consistent execution of processes.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and implementation of ERP process changes.
  • Collaborate with IT and external consultants on ERP improvements and initiatives.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership to improve inventory accuracy, material availability, production efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Lead and participate in Supply Chain process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain and manufacturing business processes.
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, MRP, scheduling, and production operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with business process documentation and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, ERP systems, or business process improvement.
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with ECI MAX ERP strongly preferred.
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, MRP, and production planning processes preferred.
